Big difference between classy and classic. I wouldn't put a top sports car like a Ferrari in with "Classy" but they sure are a classic.

Classy I'd say Jaguar, Many of the older cars of the 30's and 40's do it for me, and I guess though they aren't my style, the Rolls / Bentley types. Some Mercedes models too.

To me, Lexus does nothing but immitate Mercedes. Cadillac lost it in the 60's and for decades now = "pimp".

Classic for me would be the best models of Ferrari ( head and shoulders above Lamborghini, which says "I'm a brand new Rap star"), old Jags, a few mercedes models, and of course the Shelby Cobra 427.

Ferrari. Heard that they screen their buyers or used to. Heard if you won the lottery and wanted to buy a new Ferrari they wouldn't let you. Although that is kinda being stuck up.

Other options: Bentley, Mercedes,Lexus. Am I forgetting any?

I usually tend to offend people when I speak the truth, but it's not my fault !! lol...Ferrari gets my vote, they will give you a 100 page questionaire just to see if your qualified enough to own one. Also, their flagship car, the "Enzo" can only be purchased if you owned a Ferrari in the past and you have to be Italian.

What I meant by qualified is what Rex stated about the Lottery for example. They do a background check on you to see if you or any other relatives were financially stable or simply ( RICH ) for a long period of time. It s not good if you suddenly hit it big. You can't show them you lived in an $800 dollar a month apartment your whole life and all of sudden walk into a Ferrari Dealership with a suitcase full of cash and say "I want that one"

I just watched a show on Lottery winners, there was a guy from down south who bought one immediately. He was very down & out prior.

I'd be surprised if they turned down anybody's money.

I was talking about their flagships. The 550 Maranello and the ENZO. Im sure anyone can purchase a 360 Modena, the 460 or even a used model.

I just want my first car back...A beautiful red 1990 Suzuki Swift.

I've since upgraded to a 1998...

I saw the 2006 Cobra last Sunday. They brought it out to my shop to make sure it would fit over the equipment. Very low clearance. It had a very large engine, with a blower, and cross-brace going from strut to strut. I think they'll have to move some sheet metal for that behemoth.

Nice to know they're doing their part for global warming.

But once they finalize their plans to harness energy from testosterone creation they will be doing more than their share to contribute to ecological interests.

When I think of classy vehicles, I think of pre-war vehicles such as the Rolls Royce, Bently, Alvis, or other vehicles such as the Cadillac LaSalle, or beautiful vehicles such as the Auburn, Cord or Duesenberg.

I am the proud owner of a 1948 Alvis TA-14 which I am hoping to completely restore. Although it would not fall into the "Classy" category, it is relatively rare and mine.

2nd place in my book goes to the SS100 Jaguar (1930s) Mechanical brakes, no windscreen, gorgeous design.

A few come to mind: Benz, Rolls Royce, Beemer, Saab, Caddy, Lexus, Bently. The newer Buicks look classy, but I dunno much about what's under the hood there. What's that new Chrysler that made Car of the Year in some magazine? It looks pretty nice, but again, I don't know a lot about the engine.
Ever driven a Saab? I dunno about the older ones, but my Dad used to have a '98 900s, and that thing drives so smooth. I used to look for exuses to drive it around town instead of my little hooptie (Toyota Tercel, '92). Now the Saab belongs to my little sister. She traded him for a Silverado. I woulda kept the Saab.
I don't think of them as 'classy,' per se, but as far as cool goes, I've got a thing for Mustangs.
