I was wondering if we could start a thread [Like this one] for users that have items for sale or wanting to trade or looking for. I have seen some people including myself selling hardware via link to eBay and other auction sites or person to person via PM.
If you have an item you want to sell or have an item you are looking for you can post in this thread and interested users could PM or email you. With eBay fee's so high I think this would be a plus for users.
It would be a person to person transaction and DPChallenge would not be held responsible for any problems.
What do you think?

I fully support the idea of more buy/sell activity going on here. I think there should be a separate area (just like Rant, General Discussion, etc.) and we should all participate.

fredmiranda.com is incredible for their buy/sell section, but I have really grown to trust many of you and would feel comfortable buying/selling here.

Edit: Oh, and any Canadians that want to sell me some 77mm B+W filters please let me know...I may hopefully need some 72mm filters soon as well, or at least a step up ring to 77mm. Most specifically, I need a high quality 77mm circular polarizer (multi-coated).

Fantastic idea... and I would have a great deal more faith purchasing something from someone in DPC than I would in some of the other venues.

By the way,...that is a great camera setup (I had the E-20). And the 3x lense is usually $300 on ebay (used). I know I spent over a year trying to get it for my E-20. The lens on those cameras are f/2.0-2.4 if i recall.

But for anyone who does NOT want a removable lens system. Olympus E-10/20s are about the best you can get. Built supremely high quality.

(Second note, my E-20 was sold so that listing is no longer valid.)

Looks kinda' odd not seeing it under my name now. (always has been since day 1 here)
Now for the real challenge - see if I can ribbon, or get into top twenty with a camera that writes to a floppy!!

ROFL - No need - this is going to be my fun time to see what I can/can't do with the Sony.

I just checked, you can be the first to submit a photo (and probably ribbon) with that camera.
