Just curious. Would this b&w conversion have scored any higher than my original blue sky photo that finished with 5.0? I pulled the black and white in the last hour. Thanks for any input.

It would have scored much higher, I think.

While I place in the top 20, I think this may have scored better than

But who's to say, hind sight scoring is always better right?

That's what I was thinking. How's that expression go? "I'm my worst enemy." :(
Thanks for posting.

Are you rubbing it in, crab? lol Nice job!

adding: Nice job on the photo....not on rubbing it in. :D

What do you think of this photo? I was 50/50 on which one to submit for the challenge.

Thanks!!!

I had a lot of outtakes. Here are 2 I debated about submitting. At first I really liked the image I did submit, but as the week went on I liked it less and less (and not just because it was bombing *grin*)

ok here's mine.....its not really an outtake infact i would've liked to have submitted it but i had 10 mins. before the challenge expired and i had 2 shots to edit......i stupidly didn't look much into the shots and chose the 1 that looked better in color figuring it would look just as good in B&W.....WRONG.....after i edited the other and came up with this- Grave Light 2
the only thing that makes it not leagle is the fact that i applied a motion blur to the sky....but i have a copy with out and it is to late now any way..........here is it un squished...- Grave Light 3

How would they have done?

here is my lowly submittion nothing compaired to the above- Submittted

thats all the wining i will do.....from now on if it looks great in color then it will look ok in B&W and if it is a so so color (i think) it will prob. make a great B&W........that is just a theory.......

also i should've prob. run a little better time wise it took a long time setting up and trying to find a shot at all.....

edit-the thumbs wern't working so i changed them to links maybe i'll have better luck with ithem that way
