It's Friday tomorrow, isn't it? I'll hold a memorial ceremony at some random bar downtown Oslo with a few of the casualities' friends.

Does anyone know the appropriate length of time to mourn for the victims? I was thinking 24 ounces, oops hours might be sufficient.

You are a heartless bunch for sure!

How can you joke about such mindless loss? Just take a moment to consider how much suffering this will cause to many people. To lose something so close to your heart takes this tragedy beyond words.

I was traumatised just seeing this picture and now need to seek solace from friends. Imagine how that poor photographer must have felt, happening on a scene of such devastation, he will need counselling for some time to come.

I hope that the survivors will be able to fulfil useful lives.

I have seen threads on DPC that gave people a hard time about taking photos of tragedies despite the victim's circumstances. Is this photographer callous in this regard?

The victims of this horrific tragedy are in my thoughts and prayers - even more so tomorrow. I'm sure we all feel the loss.

Hmm, Grolsch (a Dutch Pils) gives me a headache.
So I'm not sad but very glad. If I were the photographer the image would be very blurry because of me jumping of joy.

I'll notify my niece, she lives almost next to the brewery and a Grolsch fan. This should give her a headache. :)

I believe I've seen this in the newspaper a while ago.

Good place for it.
Wait - I think I see a survivor - quick, gimme a rock!

I'm sure I've seen that photo before, so it's not a recent accident.

oh the humanity.

As tragic as this accident is, it could have been much worse; the victims might have been one of those types not filtered through a horse!

You're right, it was an image that was in a newspaper. I mistakenly thought my friend was actually there and took the pic. It is still very funny and, of course, very, very tragic.

So it's not a recent photo taken by your friend??? Well I don't know what to think anymore... excuse me for a minute...

...after scanning through the thread again - this time knowing the truth - I have decided it is still very funny. And yes, of course, tragic.

I don't know which is more compelling, this forum, or the one about the wedding photographer who cannot say no to the brides bossy mother.. I don't think I'll sleep a wink tonight.

I don't think I could handle it if it was filtered through a horse.

OMG, my niece who is currently enroute to Germany from Oz will be devastated to learn she will not accompany these friends upon arrival.
