Sony 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 (E-mount)

Could someone pretty please send me a high resolution scan of a beat up, scratched old photo.

I want to practice photo restoration, and possibly use one as an example of a before and after shot.

I'm after something that looks rather bad, but isn't impossible to fix.

John (as I remembered too late, sorry about that), thank you oodles.
That photo looks like a good one to practice on.

Anybody else? Would do me good to have more than one :-)

The photo i gave you isn't an 'optimum' image to restore. I had to start out with a photo of the original photo rather than a scan. The original photo was 20" on the long side of the oval so i could not scan it.

If you want a shot at this one you are more than welcome. This is a guy that I work with (when he was a baby) and it's the only picture he has left from his childhood. I did a quick job for him, but I am not that good.

If you would like it I can send it to you.

I'll convert the RAW to JPEG and send it. I'll also send a reduced version of my attempt at it.

Are you on broadband?
