Spring is at our doorstep and if you haven't been looking, there are a number of contests, jobs, and/or requests for images of all things related to spring. I'd like to see what others think portrays what springtime is all about. Words that I've so far come up with are:
grasses/greenery
plants budding/flowering
all things growing
easter
pastels
babies of all sorts
children
st. patricks day
If you have images that work show them off!

I guess I'm just hoping that come eastertime I'll catch a shot of kid in a great easter outfit holding an easter basket, painting/searching for eggs, or holding flowers
I like flowers and buds by themselves but adding people, at least to me, seems a thousand times better.

Okay, not real springlike looking, but thas was last monday, about 60 degrees in a park near here. WONDERFUL to be outside in the warmth. Since then, well, snow and cold and snow...and the next 4 or 5 days expetged to wet and below normal. (today's normal is 48F, 33F is prediction)
While i did not get pics of these, i did see them:
tulips about 3" tall (well, the leaves anyway)
easter baskets and wal-mart
grass getting green, spring onions poking up
geese flying north
a few robins

Around here you'll find the kids mucking about in boots and coats for easter. Easter bunny has to hide the eggs in snow banks. |

It's 43 degrees right now at 9:31am - supposed to get up to 51 degrees today.

Not quite at full Spring glory yet... a couple more weeks and the trees should be in full bloom. Then it will be completely beautiful. This was taken at Piedmont Park here in Atlanta yesterday.

Just don't submit them for a challenge...You'll get killed in the scoring. |
