Please keep my friend's little girl in your thoughts tonight. Em is 10 years old and dying of cancer. She is home through end stages now and has not woken up yet today. Feeling terribly sad at the moment...
Here is her website: Emerald |

These kind of things rip my heart out.
Don't think we realize how lucky we are when our kids are healthy.
Somewhat lost for words. |

You never appreciate just how fortunate and lucky you are until you read something like that... my prayers and hopes are with you and your friends right now.

Yesterday my daughter fell on her head and had a mild concussion. Everything was OK after 1/2 hr, she checked OK. I lost a year of my own life right there.
Now that said, Jozi, I cannot even pretend to understand what your friends are going through. I can only offer my thoughts and hope that the world will come up with something soon that would help eradicate this awful disease and disasters like this would never happen again.
Sorry.

| I just went to her website and the family has written that their little girl passed away within the last couple of hours. I can't imagine that kind of pain of having to say goodbye to a child. |

this is just so very sad. I just dont understand why children die. There is something so very unfair about it. I am so grateful that i have 2 wonderfully healthy children. Bless her family.

My prayers go out to these poor people. Having gone through the heart wrenching process of losing a child, I know only too well the depth of their sorrows.
Mere words can't describe my feelings towards these unfortunate people, and the ache that revisits my heart every time I hear of someone's child dying. I can only hope and pray that their pain will abate quicker than mine did.
May GOD keep a watchful eye on these people.

| This situation cuts right to the heart. It is the time we wish we had the power to bend the hand of fate. Instead I am simply lost as to what to say. I know the pain for all involved and I pray that God will give courage to all. My deepest sympathy. |

My prayers are said in silence for the little girl and her family. And I pray to God that his will be done and that their pain may be quenched and the burdens lifted in Christ name.

With three children of my own, I could not begin to imagine the feelings you are experiencing. My prayers and thoughts are with her and her family.
She is at peace now and may flights of winged angels sing her to her rest.
