Gotta love The Eagles :)
Can't say I am big fan of this challenge though to be honest. We get bazillions of really great ideas put forward ..... and I would have thought there could have been one not quite so similar to "Implied Lines" only a few months back :(

Let's see; Greyhound BUS lines, United AIR lines, COCAINE lines, waiting-at-the-stadium-for-BEER lines, old-AGE lines, DESIGNER lines, in-the-SAND lines, BEHAVIOR lines, IMPLIED lines, TELEPHONE lines, PICK-UP lines, and the BEAT goes on...

Lines do play a big role in photography, and it isn't specific, so it is basically a free study that lines play into.
Past Line Challenges:
Implied Lines
Parallel Lines
Leading Lines
view at the risk of losing an original idea! =)

I can't wait to see how you work Cannon Beach into the "lines" challenge. With your luck you'll get some weird, linear cloud formation at sunset and you're off to the races...

Lines is nice and easy for a change, yay! We've had some pretty tricky challenges lately :)

I think it's great; it's open enough to let you go in any direction you like but with a clear "required" aspect.
Reminds me of those happy days when we'd get challenges like 'Pencil' :-)

Brain overload. I love these challenges. Also a bit glad it's a member challenge. I will have the time to rate each image in detail and not have 400+ images to rate. |

Due to earths curvature all lines on earth are curved. In fact, time space is also curved. Straight lines are really an illusion. However, I'll bet straight lines get voted higher. |

So is it just coincidence that Parallel Lines was exaclty one year ago? (mar 10-16)
And since I will be travelling to the same place, to take the same subject picture, can I improve me score?

Lines on the mirror probably wouldn't go over big here with the soccer mom set.

Tricky? LOL That's not the first word that comes to mind for me in describing our recent topics - Light on White, Ansel Adams and Surrealism.

Another unusual coincidence.....
Sometimes I wonder about how the topics are selected, and whether we couldn't find a better way.

I think it should be against the law for inmates to have guns.

I have a great idea for the lines challenge (actually two of them). I'm on the rebound from my light on white entry which was 95% in camera but happy that I learnt a new technique. For this challenge I've done some in depth study and again, if it doesn't do well in the challenge I'll have learnt something new - thank-you dpc (but as a moonlighter my clients want a word with you!)
