This one bears no resemblance whatever to the one I entered, but is the one I'd have worked further on and entered had I not entered instead the one I entered. If that makes sense...

I didn't have high hopes of finding the right shot, but I went out with JPR today and tried anyway...

Hehe... I changed my mind about posting the third one since it wasn't a serious contender. Guess I wasn't quick enough. ;-) |

I didn't enter this challenge but I worked on some of my older photos and printed them for framing.
Comments welcome!

No mountains in Kansas just lots of horizon meet sky. I was >< close to entering but felt it was just too weak of an image to submit. |

I agree with Laurie. That's easily a top 10 shot. |

Wish I had such self-control... instead I'll just keep watching my "avg. score" keep slipping away.
BTW, it's a lovely shot. ;-)

you guys are just so talented. I cant see how any of these can be classed as outakes. I love them all and i am now having a growing appreciation of the man that was Ansel Adams.

I didn't have time nor good weather, good light nor scenery.
But I went out at 5:00 and tried to make the best of it while walking the dog. But then I didn't really have time to process and I didn't think I would enter. But under those circumstances, here's the best I could do without spending too much time:
Curious what people think of this though. I need to do more experimentnig with conversions. |
