911 Operator: "911. Do you have an emergency to report?"
Me: "Yes! I just witnessed a murder!"
911: "Where did this crime occur?"
Me: "In my backyard."
911: "Do you know the persons involved?"
Me: "No, but I can identify them. I have pictures... The victim is a buzy little guy, wearing a honey & black striped outfit. The perp is a large black female. Red hourglass tatoo on her belly. Armed & dangerous. Approach with caution."
The victim is a honey bee, harmlessly buzzing about our garden, attending to it's pollenation duties. I was on the scene when it flew into the web of a huge Black Widow spider. The whole episode took less than a minute to ravel (spelling intentional).

I don´t mind a honey bee in my garden, but the black widow would get deported if I saw it in my garden :)
nice pictures, could do with a little fill in flash though |

Deported is an understatement... I'd make my husband send her to meet her maker! :o)

They don't call them Black Widow for no reason, lol.

Remarkably enough, the final picture actually depicts a poignant, resigned expression on the "face" of the dear departed...
