I got my flashtrax 30gb yesterday and I'm WAY excited about it! This thing plays mp3, video and most importantly, it will download CF cards with the touch of a button. There's on-screen display of thumbnails (even raw) to ensure the files transfer over properly and you can get it in 20, 30, 40 and 80gb. :) Sandisk has a rebate offer going right now and you can pick them up at bhphotovideo and sandisk.com I think. :) I know several people had talked about portable storage and let me tell ya - I've done a few test runs with this and it ROCKS. It's usb2, acts like a new harddrive, basically kicks all sorts of tail!

Kewl. I just got my 40Gb iPod Photo yesterday. Apple will release a camera connector for it later this month, but Belkin has a Firewire card reader I could get now. If the Flashtrax had Firewire, I probably would have gone that route.

Congrats Matt, I got mine (20gb)at christmas, its great for checking images before you wipe the card. One thing I was a little miffed about is that it only plays video from certain cameras, I uploaded about 7 series of the Simpsons to it only to find out they don't play. If you listen to MP3's while you shoot outside you'd better have a spare battery. It rocks at work in slideshow mode :)

I have been using a Flashtrax for over a year now and have put over 14,000 pictures through it. I even brought it to Ireland with me. Just wish it would charge quicker. Never use i for music though.

NP...took my a zillion times to get them straight. NewEgg has the 20gb for 342USD less the rebate will get it down under 300 w/o S&H. Thanks for the tip cause the part of the refund will be going towards it!
