| Since this list know everything .. it seems to involve Wales and daffidils and the wearing of leeks. Does one take photos of St, Davids day? |

St David is the patron saint of Wales in the same way as St. George is the patron saint of England and, one you might have heard of, St. Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland.
Beyond that it's just an excuse for a celebration and parades and stuff.
Oh, and leeks are ikky.

| Ah! That puts it in perspective. I think half the world's Irish live in Boston. And even though many of them have never been to Ireland they REALLY celebrate St. Patricks day. Lots of green, lots of drinking. |

Apparently St. David only drank water but that may be just a rumour.
