This photo has been selected as a semi-finalist and will be publish in a book " Endless Journeys" which is set for publishcation this summer.
I am so excited and want to thank all of you for the help you have given me in the pass and that will possible be needing in the future. |

Very serene shot, especially since you shot it from a moving car. I have photographed Shasta many times, although most recently maybe 20 years ago. It's a lovely mountain, and a very nice shot. Congrats.

I was just skiing on that mountain yesterday! Wasnt as nice of a day as that though... congrats, and good luck.

I don't mean to burst your bubble but that book name sounds familiar. Is this related to the website 'picture.com'. If so I would be very leary about dealing with them.
Very nice picture though.

they prey on photographers, just about anything u send them gets qualified and they tell u they will publish your photo, u just have to buy some 90 dollar book. i've gotten their mail, and so have many other people on this site. do a forum search and you will see.

And for those who write there is a similar scam for poetry ran by the same organization... |
