Those are beautiful fish shots.
Here are just a couple more flamingos from my "Pink" day at the zoo.
I did get a couple comments about being over-saturated and I wanted to share some original untouched shots. The color on these birds is simply unbelievable.
I waited for them to step out into a patch of sunlight and I spot metered on the light feathers to get the background dark.
Here is one showing the color of the bird in the shade.
As "pink" goes, they are pretty orange-ish/red. But they have pink feathers hidden under all that color. I'm still amazed at their bright colors. |

Those are definitely some of the most vividly colored flamingos I've ever seen! So pretty! |

I wonder how this one would have fared. I think I chose unwisely for the challenge.

Here's some outtakes on my pink peppers:
(the entry)
(decided was more magenta than pink)
(pinker but too neon I thought)
Looking at the results of the challenge, I wonder if one of the others would have done better? They have more "punch" anyway...

i still like the first one better. It's such a different pink. Really rich and punchy without being purple-ish. |

Hi Adi,
Beeing one that had a large saltwater show tank for many years, I really appreciate these shots.
I had clowns and anemones and many, many hundreds of dollars worth of live coral, feather dusters, etc..
I did sit and watch for hours - better than a TV set!
Thanks for sharing! |

Thanks a lot!
I agree, it is so much better then TV !! It changes much more, it has better action shows, better color displays, and it's all about the real life! Where on TV can you find those? :-)
