On another note, my Grandmother was a Brown from Port Rexton and she has some relatives from Salvage. One was a John Brown - I think he lives in Clarenville now. Just curious if you know who I'm talking about?

what's your middle name? Anne? Thats sounds nice.

If you take your middle name, (mine is edward)
and the street you grew up on (mine was ripley)
you get your porn name. "Edward Ripley"

Or if you take your first pet(hirby)
and you mother's maiden name(Frino)
you get your transvestite/drag queen name.

small world..... I'm trying to remember John's brother's name. He was a retired fisheries officer. He used to visit us in Bonavista in the summers when I was a kid. He died a few years back.

This is scary, I'm Leslie Lyttleton and Boots Bloxham respectivly.

Another one is your Star Wars name, take the first 3 letters of your surname and the first 2 your first name. Then the first 3 letters of your mothers maiden name and the 2 of your place of birth.

Mine is Colda Blobi.

hehe, they are not confused about this site, just the sites I design...I put melissa king on the bottom of the sites

hehe, they are not confused about this site, just the sites I design...I put melissa king on the bottom of the sites


Either change to Melissa Brown-King or Melissa Anne King (I prefer the second, personally) or make your name a hyperlink to your own website.

My wife told me when before we got married what name she was using for her writing. That and I don't really care what name she uses. Tell him to chill out. It's not like you're leaving him.

Heck, my wife STILL misses her maiden name sometimes.

BTW: I think it's fine to play games with middle names, or parts of names, but I don't think anyone should actually be posting their mother's maiden name on a web page found by searching for "mother's maiden name" -- seems like an invitation to identity theft.

I was thinking the same thing

What will our children do? These days people are still keeping there maiden name for example: Melissa Brown-King..what will our Children have to use for security?

These days, many websites (and other businesses I presume) are offering a choice of security questions -- e.g. "Where were you born?" -- or allowing you to compose your own ("What color was my brother's skateboard?").

For my son, I use his maternal grandmother's maiden name, which is a couple of steps removed and harder to guess.

I'm with the "entire name" group. Melissa Anne King sounds both artistic and professional, and would set you apart. (Unless I missed something and HER middle name is Anne too!)
