My Dream Job is to settle in country side, and be a farmer, growing wheat, specially when it is time to harvest, golden crop looks great.

My dream job would be laying off CEOs, VPs, Directors and Managers who have not got a clue how to succeed in business but have mastered CYA, camoflaging lack of talent and pissing away profits like the Colorado runs in the spring. After that I want to be a cowboy.

At this point I am only a serious amateur, but I am thinking of going pro soon, better do some more training.

I used to try to imagine how much more camera equipment I could have bought if I had never spent a dime on beer and had saved that money instead and it always made me fell sad, until one day I wondered how much more beer I could have bought if I had never spent a dime on cameras and I went into a deep depression which lasted almost twenty minutes. Then I had a beer.

If I couldn't be what I'm studying to be (planner), I'd have to be the assistant to Pamela Anderson's pool boy. Like Gordon, photography is about the last thing I'd want to do for a living.

I guess I'm one of the lucky ones - I have found my dream profession. I'm a Pararmedic and Love every moment of the day when I'm rostered on. :)

Either a travel writer and photographer (but this doesn't pay well so it would only be my dream job if I had independent means) or something related to wildlife such as working in wildlife conservation, documentary making or something.

Travel (and wildlife travel in particular) is what has always generated my best photography.

Rock Star/Guitar Hero. LOUDER LOUDER LOUDER! Unfortunately, I've already passed the typical age at which they're found OD'd, blue and bloated, floating in the pool.

That or the Assistant to the Assistant to the Pool Boy of Pamela Anderson.

I'm an engineer. It's a pretty good profession, decent pay and bennies for the family. Basically, in my current position I get paid to break stuff, which on its own is pretty damn cool. I don't care much for all the other BS like office politics and constantly being in an under-resourced/over-demand situation. Can't say that it would be better anywhere else though.

In all seriousness, I desperately want to be (and will eventually be) a documentary photographer of some sort - freelance, newspaper, magazine, anywhere that I can tell or help tell a story with my photographs. My wife and I talked about it and we are ready to plan for me to begin my journalism education next september.

Growing up, I always wanted to be an astronaut or somebody that drove a white UN truck and did important stuff to better the world...

I'd like the job of rubbing the oil on the models before a photoshoot :)

seriously, retire with enough money to travel the world taking pictures.

I love developing software, so I'm already doing what I want to do professionally. I just wish that I had more time for other things like photography, fishing, travel, tennis, etc.
