I entered this pic in the Road Signs IV challenge, unfortunately my voters have told me I have lost points because of the small size of the finished picture. I made its pixels as large as I could, but if I went to the maximum allowed pixel size, then the file size was too large. Can anyone tell me how to rectify this problem, so that in future I can enter larger pictures.
Thanx for your help.
Darren

Depends what software you are using Darren, it is possible to save at the 640 pixel size and still get the file size down too.
Photoshop has a save for web option that is great for this.
Paul.
p.s. we aren't supposed to discuss or show our current entries whilst voting is ongoing.( can't see your entry anyway)

daztaz, you can't show a photo that is in a challenge or being voted on!
You should aim to use the maximum size allowed, so the longest side should be 640. Do you use PS or Elements? Which graphics prog do you use for your photos?

Can't show it and not supposed to discuss it in the forums. Not until the voting is over. If you need to ask questions refer to it in a general way that would not help the readers to know which one it is.

Thanx everyone for your help. And sorry, but I am still a virgin at this, and didn't know the rule about not discussing a photo that votes are not ended on.
