I've been waiting for the next challenge all morning, and almost as soon as the challenge comes out there's a submission. Did I miss something here?

I noticed that too. Too quick to capture, process and upload? |

pehaps drew was kidnapped and tortured ... but he escaped and took pictures of his mangled body ... then realized he had to put up a new topic and seized the opportunity to profit from his misfortune.

Maybe someone saw the topic posted and quickly took a picture of their Road Sign score on the monitor? |

Perhaps it was the inevitable brown ribbon one.
You know the one I mean: tiny photo, all blurry and dark, so unrecognizable that there is no way of telling if it fits the challenge or not. |

Just got back from an outpatient procedure which fits both pink and pain. But I don't think you'll want to see the picture (and it's not digital anyway). I'll leave it to your imagination what the procedure is. Something to look forward to when you turn 50. |

That would be brown, not pink.

I was leaving it to the imagination, not a guessing game...
So before this gets too gross, it was a colonscopy. You too will get there someday ;) |

If I submitted it I am sure it would get a brown ribbon, but at least in the photo, the intestine is quite pink. :) |

Picky, Picky, Picky.... I do not believe that 'pain' is an emotion. Some emotions may cause anguish, but pain is basically a sensation, not an emotion. Nevertheless, I 'get it' so far as the intent is concerned!

I just had shoulder surgery on Thursday. This morning was was first attempt at a shower. I was reading the news groups (shoulder -yahoo group) and everyone was warning about the "first shower". "Yeah right". I was in there 2 minutes when I thought things were going south...fast. I barely stepped out of the shower and BOOM....fell down and passed out. Talk about PAIN! Wish I had my camera! LOL.
nshapiro, sorry you had to endure "the" prodedure. I'm only 47 but have already had 2 of those lovely experiences (colon cancer in the family). Luckily with the drugs, it's over before it starts. The worse part is the "prep" the night before! Congrats on getting this "behind" you! |

And that's as it should be. Here's to hoping that a nice, normal, pink intestine is all that was found. :o)
