I'd offer you a drink, but all I could seem to come up with is this 12 year old stuff. Give me a call in 9 years.

Thanks for the offer - shame it doesn't age in the bottle ;) Might as well drink it now...

Would it upset anyone if I sang "Auld Lang Syne"
and , ah , cleaned a few more guns?

But by my gun, o' guns the wale,
An' by my pouther an' my hail,
An' by my hen, an' by her tail,
I vow an' swear!
The game shall pay, o'er muir an' dale,
For this, niest year

My grandparents on both sides of my family immigrated to the mountains of North Carolina from Scotland in the 1930's . We try to celebrate Boxing Day, Burns Night and other Scottish traditions as often as possible with traditional dishes and sometimes my grandpa will play his fiddle and sing after too much scotch hehe. We also go the Highland Games and Gathering of the Clans on Grandfather Mountain every year //www.gmhg.org There is a rather large Scottish commmunity here in NC.. BTW, My fav Burns poem is My Luve is like a red red rose..
O my Luve's like a red, red rose,
That's newly sprung in June:
O my Luve's like the melodie,
That's sweetly play'd in tune... etc
