		| | I hate meeces to pieces. Caught 27 of them in a four month period back in 1998. I was living in an apartment connected to a house that had an open root cellar.

		| | I dislike them as well. But I do feel bad when I see them in the trap... But, they do carry germs and stuff. Anyone heard of the black plague. Rats! |

i lived a place once that got infested. we would shoot them with BB guns as they came in through the oven fan - we'd listen while we were playing pool. total shot about 50. total trapped about the same. then the landlord burned the house down. in one night they chewed through a 3/4" thick shelf, in a cupboard, and opened and cleaned out a 16oz jar of peanut butter. looked like it had been through a dishwasher.

		| | The original "mousy" picture is really good actually.
Alberta is officially (or so I'm told) rat-free. It's a wonderful thing. In Newfoundland we had jumbo rats that you couldn't kill with a 12 gauge...the large stainless steel metal traps were no match. We had to move onto bigger, more explosive means.
