| Well I was really annoyed that I only got to spend an hour wandering round taking photos for this challenge, wasn't thrilled with my entry so tried to find time to re-shoot but couldn't. Now with my score I'm really glad I was so busy :)... so far my best ever score, but I'm fully expecting it to drop half a point. |

| I was pleased with my score until I updated it. Yow! I guess the first people were overly generous :) Looks like it'll be another mediocre mid-range score. |

| I haven't really got the formula down pat - but the consensus seems to be something like this - make your image bright, happy, sharp and full of contrast - preferably involve insects, frogs, waterdrops, or moto-cross riders :P. |

Yeah, I'm trying to do the bright, happy shots but I'm more dark and moody. That doesn't seem to score well here ;-) I am pretty good at burning the stuffing out of things though, so there's hope for me yet :-D |

Once again subtlety and purity, simple serenity, lose out to the WOW factor. So it goes. 5.133 and counting...
I would have done WOW if I could have done WOW, but the entire challenge period was bleak winter light except for this one tiny window of time just before sunset one day when a little weak, warm light filtered through.

I got up this morning in a last minute attempt to change my entry (to use my P-a-D image from last monday) but was too late. I got to work and after about 25 votes I was on around 6.2 but now after 40 votes I'm battling to hold onto 5.5.
I really need to stop leaving things till the last minute.
