I've noticed that in some of my galleries, some of the image sizes have become "broken links." An example would be this image, notice the medium and small resolutions are broken. If I try to regenerate, it hoses up the entire gallery that the photo lives in. Many of my galleries have this type of corruption, which seemed to appear late last year, very suddenly.
I've e-mailed Pbase twice for help with this, and received no response to date (since Jan. 1). The fact that they have not even acknowledged my messages is making me downright angry. I thought I'd poll DPC users to see if others are having similar problems, and to see if anyone has discovered a solution.

I've noticed that a few thumbnails have broken links. I'm not sure why this would be, unless they store images across network drives and some of them are down. That seems unlikely. I'm not keen on updating my pbase account, either, and it's up for renewal.

Pbase has been having problems since near the end of Decemember. They claimed power outages then the influx of people viewing the tsunami pictures that some members have put up. There are missing images, CSS dies, the whole website goes down, they have to repeatedly reboot the database and so on. There are lots of complaints on the pbase forums too.

I have been having a lot of problems with them as well. I have also read their claims that it is due to people viewing tsunami photo, I don't believe this is the whole story. They use to be pretty solid, I hope they get their act together again, soon.

LOL, I'd accept some temporary problems, if they'd even repspond to e-mails, but two weeks seems a bit long for a response to a help request.
