| Just need a program that converts them for you. Thousands of such programs exist. I use MusicMatch Jukebox. Try checking Tucows for free converters. |

Just go to download.com and type in MP3 Converter or something like that.
iTunes does it, but it's not very intuitive which is surprising for Apple. Seems to add to library then not get the names etc.

Exact Audio Copy and LAME together -- the best there is.
Best of all they are free, or nearly so (EAC's author requests a postcard). Also, the EAC forum is active and friendly if you have any problems.

Personally I have been using this product dBpowerAMP Music Converter (dMC) for years. It's Free and supports everything, with planty of free plug-ins for every type of conversions. But Audio CD's it rips very quickly.
Just my 2 cents. |

For my money, iTunes is your best bet. It's one of the best Windows programs you'll ever see. It'll rip CDs to several different formats, including MP3, though it does not support WMA format. It's also a great music organizer, and is the front end to the iPod and the iTunes music store, should you ever decided to go in that direction.
Edit: it's also free

If you have XP, WindowsMediaPlayer 10 does it too I think...or maybe you need the $20 Digital Media Plus?
