This is my first atempt at a stock photo. I have some up on shutterstock now, but I just found them on my computer and thay just happened to be accepted. What do you think.

I really thing that this image don´t have the appeal that we expect from a stock photo. Stocks are used primary as advertisement, web site layouting and related stuff. At this use the picture rarely are introspective, down, poor lighted and underexposed. Pictures for this apliance are expected to be well lighted and needs to have high contrast. Recently I noticed a new fashion of hi-key pictures. These types caugth the viewer eyes and retain it´s attention. This is my vision on the topic.
But your picture is there, then, good lucky.

I congratulate you on actually setting out to take stock photos. That is a step forward. But what GoodEnd said is true in most cases. They need to be well exposed and composed. Try getting the phone more into the picture. Your model is lovely, btw. Just step back a bit to get more into the frame in this situation. |
