Talk about change... Was -40 last Tuesday and today, it rained cats and dogs.......... Hey, anyone want to go for a slide on my driveway. When you get to the end,,,,,,,would you mind bringing back my garbage can. I tried to go earlier, and made more moves than a water bug, just not as graceful. |

Like we always say, if you don't like the weather in Texas, just wait a few minutes! ;o)
It was nearly 70F when I woke up this morning, and it's 39F now. Go figure. :o) |

Canada is cool but everything is so far away from everything else. lol
Then again if I want sunshine and beaches it's a 45 minute flight to BC so it's not all bad. |

Laurie, I grew up in alto Texas, aka Oklahoma, so understand about the excitement over snow.
Question about that sort of ugly duck...don't remember shooting any that looked like that. Is it an exotic from someones farm? |

Hey! That's a longstanding Michiganism...
Just this past week, it was in the mid to upper 50's so we all put on our shortsleeve T's and shorts. This week the weather is in the teens to thirties, so we put on our windbreakers. Two weeks ago, it was in the single digits to negative teens to negative twenties, that's when we put on our winter coats, gloves and hats.
Michigan, if you don't like the weather, wait a few minutes. |

I remember a few years back here in January it was 82 degrees F and in Gunnison (160 miles west) it was -36 degrees F. Now that would get your attention.

Yesterday one of the other islands hit a record low for the date. We have had a cold front come through and it has been really cold.
It was in Lihue which is on Kauai, it got down to 59.
Record low
We have even had to close the windows some nights |
