OK, so I was bored and took a pic of one of my boys from the other day and applied various PS actions to it in different ways just to see what I would get. I really think some of them are kind of nice and some are a little much but I thought I'd share. You can see the results here. The first picture is the original, just adjusted for contrast, resized, and sharpened. The actions I used were all downloaded from this page. Have any other ideas or ways you might edit the pic? Share away! :o)
edit:
Matching the action to the shot...
1 original
2 First used Alabaster Portrait then added Kent's Lensblur (really cool action by itself)
3 Duotone Dreams
4 Dave's Simplifier
5 Dave's Midnight Sepia
6 Adactio Actions (may not be on that page I linked) Soft Focus & Moody
7 Alabaster Portrait
8 Katrin Eismann's Fill Flash and Dodging/Burning
9 Johnny's BW Actions, no frame
10 Johnny's BW Actions, Tint and Frame only
...I think, anyway... LOL ;o)

Great shots and variants, I love to play around with PS too when i get bored but I usually end up with a freaky mess of abstract art LMAO, well thats what I call it. |

care to maybe match up the actions with the pic #s, if you remember? might help those who want to try out one or more of them :)

Dave's Midnight Sepia is definately the winner. The rest either were to harsh or washed out the face. Of course the origianl is a great shot in itself.
