Well, it's my third, but the first two were in my room and are even more borring than that one. Taken at 18mm.

That battery charges fast, doesn't it? ;o) |

oh it feels real good. I can't wait to get some weight on this thing with a lense in the range of 300mm or so.
The battery charges fast, yeah...but I'm afraid I'm going to need a backup -- it's just so easy to just keep hitting the shutter button on this thing.
I'm also impressed at how fast you can shoot even when using the flash indoors.

I see what everyone means by 'the lense addiction starts now' because already I want a 75-300mm and some super wide angle stuff...oh well we'll see what Uncle Sam gives me come tax return season.

Congratulation! You'll love it. I've had my Rebel about a year and it's served me well. |

Thanks all...well, it fits snugly in my old camera bag, but it fits so I guess that's a good thing.
You should just store it with the lense on, right? Seems pointless to take it on/off all the time.

I used to store my film SLR with lens on, less chance of dust getting inside. |

Wow, that's a nice picture. The colors and focus are great.
I've just joined the Rebel Club, too! |
