Something keeps drawing me back to these soft shots from a recent learn to use your lenses session of mine:



I am wondering if they have any appeal to anyone but me. What do you think?

I like the first where the vermilion sings even in soft mode.

I like the first one. I think for the focus to be soft, there has to be a nice array of colors of some sort of contrast between the colors (like on the first one). Good saturation helps too -- which the second one is lacking.

I love the first one if I mentally crop off the left most part. It completely works then. The second one is weaker in my opinion also.

Thanks! My favorites are the first one in the first post and the second one in the second post. Everyones taste is different, I love to post here and see what people think.

That's a photogenic flower you found there. I like that same ones you do plus the last one from the second group. Lovely.
