I like both of these, but was wondering...

Has anyone got any thoughts as to which rendition suits the subject best ?

As always, if anyone wants to have a play with these, feel free.

I think I like the B/W. I think it's a question of color verses form, in the case of the color shot it distracts a bit from the form. they are both super photo's thouhg and it's only my opinion.

It depends on what mood you want to get from them. They both work. I find more interest in the color version because it's different and presents a lot of questions to me as a viewer. The black and white is good for the shadows and curves but doesnt quite have as many questions and so just lacks a little bit of interest.

The colors you captured are too nice to throw away for a B&W version. I'm for the colored one.

I think the colour version suits the subject better. It highlights parts of the face in a more appealing way than the B&W.

I love the pretty colors. Really nice.
edit: But it looks like some motion blur on both. Other than that it's beautiful. Can you reshoot it either to get more motion or more focus?

It's a difficult choice because it looks really good both ways, but I do think the colours in this one are something special.

I think they're both great, but I prefer the colour version.

I like the color version best. But they both are very good. I like the subject as well, it appears to have life in the color version. Nice!
