I was invited over to a friends house to try and shoot some stock photos. Their daughter Cheyenne was home and let me do a few experimental shots. These are the first portrait type shots I've tried and I must admit I was having a heck of a time with my lighting. Any comments would be welcome.
Bathroom mirror all fogged up. She has such an old fashioned angelic look, I wanted to try to do something like a faded photo.
Pretty straight shot.
Well the composition got a little whacked. I believe she moved just as I pressed the shutter, but I like it anyway.
There is noise because I had to pull a lot of info up because they were underexposed.
Thanks for any feedback.

the first one looks trippy, also like an old painting. kinda cool

I don't like the first one but the second is pretty nice and the third is my favorite of the series. It has an interesting pose and I like the flat lighting and warm colors for this one.
I would consider cloning out the stripes on her forehead though. Makes her look quite old... ;-)

I think you've got something here in terms of some portrait skill. I like the first 2, but not the third. I added comments to all three.

Thanks everybody. I will try to work more on all three. She wants a cd of all the shots unedited and I want to print at least one edited one for her. So far, I think it will the second one.
