I have to say I loved PeeWee. I couldn't believe that his show was for kids. It's just rotten what happened to him. |

There was an adult version of peewee's playhouse on HBO before it was a kids show. I was too young too watch, it looked like a kids show but mom and dad kicked me out of the room!

I told you guys! He was pretty wacked! The spots in Cheech and Chong movies were definitely not for kids... I don't think the guy ever wanted to entertain children. Probably some producer who sat with him and asked: "How would you like to make money doing a saturday morning show?"
Wasn't he great in "Blow" with Johnny Depp tough?

Now MY question becomes, what were YOU doing at the local strip joint?? LOL |
Actually I was the DD and this is where the other people I was with wanted to go. Yes I am on holidays but that does not mean I have to go anywhere.
Thanks but no I don't need my name changed to Notemployeed YET but I will keep that in mind.
Yes he is the area directo for one of the largest compaines in Canada, yes he does have the right to go where ever he wishes and now all I think god for was that he choose the ugly ones.
I guess you could call it a conflict of interest for me meeting him/him meeting me.
Anyways was just trying to vent on a rough day and needed to get that off my chest. I can always be rest assured that the people of DPC will pick apart whatevers said and I can always find NO support here. LMAO

I know who PeeWee Herman is (see my post prior to yours). She said she wasn't referring to him. |

Notonline: as long as there's a rant forum, vent. Venting when you're super pissed feels good but you're not always at your grammatical-best and sometimes the meaning is lost in translation.
...the lesson here is to just stay away from strip clubs, see all the trouble you get into? lol

This may be an urban legend because I heard it in slightly different detail from other sources, but according to my father there was a kid's radio show in Chicago during the 1930's and the host's name was "Uncle Bob". Every day he would end the show by saying, "now kids, make sure you look both ways before crossing the street". Well, one day "Uncle Bob" forgot to turn off his microphone after the safety tip and what all the kids heard was "Now kids, make sure you look both ways before crossing the street. There, that ought to hold the little bastards until tomorrow". Needless to say, Uncle Bob's radio career came to an immediate end! |

I remember an episode of The Simpsons that parodied that quite well... it was the one where Krusty the Klown was replaced by Gabbo, and a phrase very similar to that was his downfall...
