| Does anyone has tried this combination? Or is better not to try it? |

It would work ok in average daylight conditions. You may have to bump the ISO up a little to get decent shutter speeds. That lens becomes an f/8 lens with the 2x TC.

If you're looking for more reach the 1.4x works wonderfully, and maintains autofocus. It's sometimes impossible to tell if I used it without looking at the EXIF data, and even then it's hard if I shot under 200mm.
