Took this shot yesterday at a Christmas parade here in Winchester, VA. Hate that the rear bumper is cut off, but that's the shot. Edited in PS Elements to ready for use in istockphoto. I assume that the obscured faces will be ok to use in an image offered for sale? The car, by the way, is (was) a '34 something or other according to the license plate. Used Elements to obscure that, too. Any critique welcome, fire away. And thanks, --Ray

Bumping back up for another try... any help?

I don't think they'll accept it due to the blownout background. Maybe try cutting it out and just putting it on a white background.

the background sucks. sorry to be so to the point that way, but that is how it strikes me - like a light bulb shining in my face. Beysond that, the car itself is a bit underexposed, 1/2 stop maybe. you know about the read fender being cut off.

No don't apologize, I appreciate the input. (I asked for it even!)

did you do the background that way on purpose? You might try blurring the people more and not making them so much lighter than the car. You can probably build up the cut off fender if you want to spend some time on it.
I like it. It's fresh. But for some reason, I've always liked pictures that are blown out that way.

Yes it was done on purpose. I'm like you in that I kind of liked it, but still want opinions. Thanks for your suggestions, I will dink with the bacground some more. As for the bumper, hadn't even thought of that, being so new at using PSE. I'll give it a whirl. Thanks for the reply.
