You need to put "/corey988" between the [url= tag and the ] tag. What goes between ] and [/name] is the words you want to be hyperlinked to the specified URL.

John, I have never been able to get a great picture from Olympic Park, I have tried many times, just think it isn't there. I worked within a few blocks of there for almost a year. Have you tried Woodruff Park it is pretty cool you can only get about 2-3 good shots there unless you feel up to trying to take pictures of the guys playing chess. |

I have not... I wish i was able to be in atlanta to do my 'city life' shot.. I'm still thinking about ducking this challenge. There is not a lot of inspiring material to photograph here. My road trip for Saturday just got cancelled so maybe I can do some searching for a decent shot for 'city life' on Saturday.
Since I don't have easy access to a decent sized city, I need to look for something simplistic that defines the city I live in. Hickory, North Carolina *is* the heart of the furniture capital of the world. I have been trying to think of some interesting way to put that into an image, but all of the furniture manufacturing facilities around here are dull and unappealing to the eye...
Maybe I should look towards the 'historical' value of the city in which I reside... We have a lot of history... This town was incorporated in 1789. The problem with the historical sites in the area is that urbanization has destroyed the surroundings of these monuments and the photograph opportunities are pretty weak...

You can't skip this one, you have had a great picture in the last 10 challenges, you have been one of the benchmarks of consistancy on this web site. I am sure you will find something amazing once again. |

My current photo is my favorite of all that I have submitted here and it looks like it will finish at near my lowest score.. lol
I could always submit a photo without any trouble... my problem is that I don't want to submit a photo that I don't like... As I have said before, the score isn't really relevant to me because there is no voting guideline that is common on this site. I just haven't found any inspiration for this challenge yet...

I know how you feel, I have had some of the same things happen with my pictures. I have taken the last three weeks off so I am not one to talk. My entry this week in the shadows challenge is not a favorite of mine but is seems to be keeping it's own, goes to show you never know what other people will like. I just wish that I could keep my creativity going with every challenge. Oh yeah what is that Moderator thing under your name? |

Moderators are going to be a group of people who help with some of the administrative tasks that drew and langdon are currently handling themselves... There has not been a lot of definition yet on exactly what the roles will be. One of the tasks that will be done by moderators is helping decide on photo disqualifications. It will take a moderator majority vote to disqualify a photo...

jmsetzler - Are there any giant sized furniture pieces as statues in your town, you could mess with something like that.. Or oo take a picture (i guess kinda cheezy i dunno) of a furniture store with the window having some kind of reflection (of course, you need to have something meaningful in that reflection too).. I dunno.
I just spent an hour walking downtown, I got a few photos, only one has potential but simply for humor .. not artistic .. quality.
Oh well, going again tomorrow! Weee!
