This has probably been done before, but I didn't find anything right on this subject.
I am interested in good books on portrait photoghraphy. Not talking about one of those general photography books covering all basics on photography but something more detailed. Issues covered should include posing, lighting techniques, composition and such.
Can you recommend good books on the subject?

If you are looking for info on glamor photography, this book (although old) is really good. Covers all kinds of techniques and such. Funny too, if you want to see some retro photos. Gotta love glamour models in tube socks! :)
Successful Glamor Photography - by John Kelly
I just picked this book up about a week ago and it is excellent. It has tons of photos and then diagrams to show the lighting with explanations for each one.
Photographing People: Portraits Fashion Glamour - by David Wilson
I highly suggest both of these books.

You asked for recommendations on books, but don't overlook dpc's own jodiecoston, and her lesson on portraits and lighting. I found it very helpful.
