OK that's it -- I'm leaving here now and not returning until nightfall and going to fill up at least one memory card all the way. I shall return later and post some results :-D

I did that, well OK, 2 hours, last Monday morning. Great for the soul, and I have renewed confidence in my ablity to make pretty pictures (as opposed to mediocre challenge entries)

I did that yesterday and didnt get one good image out of it and became so utterly depressed that I feel like hanging up my camera!

It's not always a good thing :(

I don't have a problem filling up my cards, but have a problem looking through and processing the goods ones to post for challenges, stock, critiquing, etc.

Took a couple hundred shots yesterday at the local car show and don't know
when I'm going to post any of them. Took a couple hundred at the zoo in the beginning of the month and yet to go through all of them and going back in a week :(

the past 3 days have been a blast! food, family, and fotography! i was able to get out and shoot in the mornings before anyone else was up. although i made a first pass at post-processing, now that i'm home, the real work begins...

if you want to check them out, the threads are here:
Cold, Foggy, November Morning

May Your Day Start Like This

and there are still 3 challenges in front of me--ay-yi-yi!

Well I'm back. I actually took quite a few shots, I'm not too impressed with the results. Maybe I'll head out tomorrow morning as well.

I was at the park near my house (it's a rather big park) and just about every scene you would think would look nice has like 50 garbage cans or a huge colorful modern-looking playground built on a nice big slab of concrete to clutter things up.

I did manage this one shot which I was pretty pleased with -- I cropped, curves, and added the border.

Oh yeah here's one more. It's actually pretty close to being straight out of the camera. The grass was so green it wasn't funny -- that's why I stopped to take a few right there.

I did curves, adjusted the green a little to make it even greener and then played with the border for about an hour :-D

Yeah, i have the same problem. Today i took some studio shots for practice and 2 challenges. So i have 4 or 5 keepers and 50 throw aways. Did I erase them from my HD? NO. I like collecting junk I suppose.
