| It was scary for a while, but the worst has passed us in this area now. It knocked over some big rigs, toppled a building, and uprooted trees in the DFW area, and of course, down farther south, flooding is rampant. We're lucky that things were less severe around here. Whew! |

It has been pretty miserable here today :( Heavy thunder and lighting and heavy rains. It has been nasty all morning. But now the sun is trying to break through the clouds every now and then :)
I have been trying to get things squared away before all the family and company start rolling into town. We host Thanksgiving every year :)
I see Weather.Com is predicting nice weather for the family members who have to travel here. |

i work in the billboard industry, and it looks like we've got damage to at least 12 signs... we hardly got any rain here at work, but our damaged signs were only 5 miles away! thank goodness no one was out in the bad weather here, and no one was hurt by any of the signs either. but didn't the sky look cool around 1pm? :)

I am so happy that yall are ok. The way they were talking on the news that it was the worse one for Texas to have has in awhile. I imagined scenes like Florida, or Charlotte.. Them storms do a lot of damage its to close to the holidays for it to mess up on people now. I guess Mother Nature will still get its way though it cant stop us from hope and prayers.
