Here's mine... unsubmitted it at the last minute. I think it would have scored in the mid 4s, but I would like other opinions???
With 600-plus entries, there must be some awesome shots that weren't entered. Please share!

Here is mine alternate, changed it back and forth during the entire week, the one I have decided to stick with is not doing to well... so I think this one maybe...
Oh and about yours I like the b/w conversion the composition is good too but I find that piece of fence or whatever that is at the bottom a bit distracting.

I thought I would get lynched if I entered another cougar shot. I've also been in a color mood for the last few months and none of my black and white shots look...... good to me anymore. |

frumoaznicul: I think your Bunny Boy Reflecting is a great candid shot. You must have really agonized over which one to submit.

Wanted to go with this, but my wife, who is about ready to burst with our second child, is really sensitive and probably couldn't have handled any of the negative comments, so I decided to keep peace within the house and submit something else. |

I posted mine yesterday in this thread:
Black & White....
In many ways, the above was a shot I really liked,
but figured it would get a barrage of "It's blurry" (or similar) in the challenge.
I really wanted to get back in the mountains Sunday (Had to go into work though - UGH!),
as this is my favorite kind of B & W photography:

i removed a scratch so i couldnt enter it, thought about putting it in anyways(with the scratch) but oh well...my submitted shot is at a 5.1 and has gotten 3 neg comments and 1 good but thats a decent score for me |

Neat idea, I left a comment:
Let's pretend it was in focus and the light source was above and behind the sun, so that shadows of the fake paper trees were cast towards the camera (just as if the sun was real)...
I would score it a 7.

mine is at 4.4 thought it would be much better all good comments

thanks for the comment, always appriciated.
I knew the picture wasn't as technically good as I could get it. The reason being was because I changed my mind about 500 times on this, and because of that, never got around to reshooting it. Eventually, I'll get around to reshooting it, and replace that picture. It was just something I snapped quickly and later in review, I found to be quite satirical. Nevertheless, I'd rather be getting hammered with that picture than getting the grim 4.8 I am now, where the subject is the exact thing I was making fun of (I'm ashamed). But again, thanks for your time to comment. |
