I tried non-cliche (and managed to accomplish non-original at the same time), after a steady run of 5.5+ results I'm managing 19/4.7368 in this one, there is something about the photo that certain people might not like, I do hope that ignorance does not get in the way of peoples opinions........I can't believe I just typed that, how stupid am I? |
Lol.. well, this is my first 5.5+ shot in 6 entries.. and at the rate it's dropping *now*.. it'll be a 5.3 or something by morning. *shrug*.
I honestly think that I'll be staying away from open challenges from now on. They've gotten too.. bloated. |
It's like the October Free Study and the Macro contests, there were so many great pics that if you would have been handed one on their own, you would be very impressed. With the amount of entrants far too many great pics are lost in the crowd. I'm seriously thinking that unless I've taken an absolutely fantastic pic I'm going to hold back till the last evening and only enter if there is less than 200 entries. |

bloody hell. an hour ago, 5.5. now 5.33. this is just a micro rant to say, how the bloody hell does one get anything over six nowadays? is it me, or is the more recent level of voting harsher than what it was six months ago? I'm sure I have improved skill-wise over the recent months, so how come i haven't had a top 10 for more than three months? very very frustrating... gotta try harder, i suppose.

i should coco! i mean, obviously (nearly) everything i submit is worth ten, or i bloody wouldn't even bloody bother, would i? duh! stupid people. okay, i'll concede maybe my out of focus picture of fruit i the food challenge possibly deserved only a 9, but crikey..!

hey out of 644 i'm doin' pretty good IMO + i'm not expecting many views i just went through and i don't think many people will go all the way as i did (note:i haven't vote on all... that is the goal..., to com)

I am strangely not unhappy, as this is my first entry. I am still trying to figure out what makes people happy around here. And it has gone up .2 in the last couple of hours.
