Does anybody know how long does it take for adobe to add support for RAW file for a new camera when it reaches the market? I can't wait to use something else than this unbelievable crappy thing that sony supply with their RAW-capable camera and that they call "Image data converter"

Adobe does have a plugin for raw support but I don't know if it has your camera in it but that should not matter. P.M. me and I will send the file to you.

Thanks for your offer Paul but I have the latest patch too (september 27, 2004) but my camera is not supported yet. I just wanted to know how often adobe release new patches.

depends on demand/ popularity of the camera to a certain extent.

If you are a registered user, let them know you want it - it can't hurt to ask.

You can dowload Irfanview and convert your RAW image to Tiff. I am surprised that PS8 does not read that raw format.
