19 Freddie.jpgby ErikVComment: I'm quite happy with the harsh lighting here, the way it gives focus to the model, almost unreal. |

DSC_7140.jpgby trnqltyComment: A smile?.. lol
For me the expresion is perfect for the image. The only aspect I'm not keen on is the way her hair sort of sparkles like it's nylon but then that also adds a certain something as well perhaps.
Anyway a great shot |

18 Marriette & Wes.jpgby ErikVComment: Can someone explain to me why there has to be a connection between them.
Personally I like it as is, I think it makes it more interesting than if they were looking at eachother. Message edited by author 2010-01-20 06:27:54. |

18 Marriette & Wes.jpgby ErikVComment: Originally posted by Jedusi: Nice clarity and detail Eric - but I feel no engagement with the characters at all - it's almost like two very nice manequins abandoned in the woods . . if they had either been looking at each other or the camera , or even one of them looking at the camera this would have been better for me, but they don't seem connected to each other or to the viewer.
p.s. and neither of them look cheerful enough for Lutchenko's suggestion :- ) |
depends how it went ;) |

18 Marriette & Wes.jpgby ErikVComment: I like your setting and execution here. I guess my only observation is that it has a real catalogue feel to it, that's good by the way from a commercial standpoint.
The more I look at the pose the more I want to change it to suggest that they just popped into the woods for a quickie and when they came back the car had been stolen lol, the chap with head in hands and the girl with her hands in the air type thing. Must just be my weird sense of humor :)
oh yes... success Message edited by author 2010-01-19 09:01:55. |
