an interesting POV indeed. I like the range of tones here. While it seems like this is striving for a somewhat elegant look, the detail of the mouth, nose and eyeholes is so good that the mask looks cheap and plastic. Some sort of softening (either with a filter, or lighting, or DOF) might help? 7.

Imaginitive, very graphically detailed photo. I'm guessing this mouth is fake, but you did a good job of making it look... well used :-) While I can't imagine putting this anywhere that I'd have to look at it every day, it does fit the challenge well! 7.

Yes it is. Which is somewhat interesting, but not particularly compelling. The lighting looks harsh (flash?) and the focus looks just slightly off. A few more tries might have yielded a better shot. 4.

I understand the obvious connection of POV to the eye, and I know how difficult it is to take a shot like this and get it just the way you want it, if you're shooting your own eye. We've all tried it. But by the same token, the title sorta confuses me since there doesn't appear to be a tie-in with the challenge or the image itself. All in all for me this isn't a very imaginitive or compelling shot. 4
