Queen of the castleby GoldBerryComment: "while the point of view is somewhat interesting, this didn't require much effort or imagination. So many other submitters put a lot of work into their submissions, and it shows. 2."
Strike that. You've taken great issue with the fact that I said this shot didn't require much effort, so here is my revised comment. Hopefully you'll find it more helpful:
"While you might have spent Herculean amounts of effort to attain this shot, I would have preferred if that time and effort had been spent finding a more compelling, interesting and imaginitive subject to shoot, and to shoot well. 2 points for a somewhat interesting point of view."
In other words, the score still stands. |

Follow your conscience (the bat is blind)by garlicComment: It looks like one is trying to teach the other to dance the Macarena or something :-) A creative idea, but I have a couple suggestions. Diffusing your lighting would help with those bright spots on the plastic. Moving the subjects further away from the background or using a wider aperture would help to blur out that sheet. Another idea would be to use a curved sheet of poster board to go under and up behind the figures to have a uniform, clean looking background. Keep trying! 4. |

Being a piece of clothingby nicklevyComment: Washer or dryer? Interesting. But not compelling to me. Was this lit with a flash? I think this fits the challenge well, so I'll give it a 6. |

D.D.by boyte1Comment: while the perspective is interesting, this didn't require much effort or imagination. So many other submitters put a lot of work into their submissions, and it shows. An even narrower depth of field to blur the less-than-attractive ground might have helped this shot a bit. 2. |

Hey... Where Is My Bone?by DrakeComment: while the point of view is somewhat interesting, this really looks to me like nothing more than a snapshot with flash, which doesn't require any effort or imagination. So many other submitters put a lot of work into their submissions, and it shows. 2. |

Looking Up To Treesby RelientFrenzyComment: Pointing the camera up a tree doesn't strike me as interesting or requiring much imagination, as evidenced by the number of people who chose to do it for this challenge. At least shooting at a different time of day that offered a more interesting quality of light might have helped. While the depth of field makes this a slightly more interesting shot, the small image size detracts significantly. Sorry, 2. |
