Technical: Most all images submitted fit the challenge, but this one doesn't say simplicity to me very loudly. Exposure composition focus lighting all good, the combination of the DOF, perspective and lighting all give it a certain "look" that is very interesting and almost rock video-ish.

Personal: I like the shot, but I don't identify it with the challenge theme.

Technical: Most all images submitted fit the challenge. This one does. Exposure seems a tad too dark. Is that snow? I really like the composition. Focus is way too soft for me- I assume you're trying to acheive an effect, but for me it fails. I really like the lighting, as if the glove is spotlighted.

Personal:This has a great deal of potential to me, but the lack of focus really hurts it.
