Gooky. Real impression of speed (or too much beer). Like it quite a lot.

Willem, is that you again? I think I like this one even more then the 'Round' one. But you can't get a 10 again for the same subject, so 9.

This is another excellent example of curves and line use. I like the color scheme, too.

This is a really cool shot, but I'm not sure that it reflects simplicity. The multiple lines and lighting seem more complex than simple. Again, a wonderful shot, just maybe for a different category.

Fits the challenge perfectly :D

Well, that has to be the ribbon I just stumbled into. Sensational. I hope there is an explanation of how this was done. Love it.

This shot is like a drug... It makes me dizzy to look at it for too long, but I can;t help stare at it! Great shot!

Technical: Most all images submitted fit the challenge. Exposure composition focus lighting all good for an abstract.

Personal: Upon looking at the thumbnail for this shot I thought it was a palm leaf. I was surprised when I saw the full sized image! I like.

My vote: 6

Reminds me of my "round" challenge winner. Where was this taken ? Good steady shot. Nice contrasts. Keeping the shutter open a bit longer would have made the lights on the left also into one uninterrupted line. I find the composition a bit awkward, with the wall on the right filling the big part of the picture and the leading lines into the bend all on the left and therefore fairly short. (but it might be that I am to used to my own picture and judging from that).

I get dizzy just looking at this. You did a good job of capturing motion. Maybe not simplicity though. Great shot.

Simple? It´s really complex, in shades, paterns and colors!

There's nothing simple about this photo. It's all about complexity & speed.
Great photo, wrong challenge.

the abstractness(?) of this really takes away from the premise of simplicity
