Soup - A Simple Saturday Snack

Personal: Wow, that soup looks *really* unappetizing to me. And near the spoon, is that blue from the handle bleeding into the soup itself??

Personal: Well done shot, fits the theme well, it's obvious this is a lock of some sort, but I find myself wanting to see more of what's outside the frame to get a better understanding of what exactly I'm looking at.

A Novice Monk: Simple Life or Simply a Kid?

Personal: This photograph makes me curious to know more about this kid, what he's pointing at (if anything), what is behind him, where he is..... which means the photographer did a good job!

Staying Warm

Technical: Most all images submitted fit the challenge. This one does well. Staying warm is a basic, simple necessity. Exposure composition focus lighting all excellent. I like the fact that we see enough feathers to tell that this baby is snuggled up to Momma.

Personal:The tiny featherlets (I just made up a word!) on the top of the baby's head are precious. Excellent job catching all the fine details in this photo!
