Water Funby AshezzComment: The resolution here is very low. It is also OOF (out of focus). There are several very hot spots. It is also kind of small and cropped very tight.

Clouds By Nightby marboComment: This does not represent water to me. It does not look like clouds even. It looks like the aurora which is not weather related.

Blue Glassby cbellerComment: From the Critque Club
Things I like: I love the blue tone of the glass. I also like the way the bottom (stem?) of the glass glows also. You used the rule of thirds nicely with the bonus of good negative space also.
Things I don't like: This shot looks like it's too soft focus. I'm reasonably sure that it's because the glass is frosted giving off a glow. The stem portion of the glass does look in focus, but it's very hard to see. It needs more light either from within or externally. I like what you CAN see of it, but it's more of a distraction because it's hardly visible. I find myself trying to figure out the exact shape rather than enjoying the overall affect.
Good concept. Keep trying with this (if it's not too frustrating.) If you figure out how to get a great one I'd like to see it and how you did it!

Deep Blueby johnmComment: Beautiful tones. Can't tell if your focus is on or it's just the translucency of the subject, so I'll give you that one. Is this your tank or at an aquarium?

Solitudeby sunflowerComment: This shot is crooked and a little busy. Boy and foreground ducks would make a cleaner presentation. Crooked part is easy to fix in photoshop if you have a good vertical or horizontal reference in the shot (the reeds maybe).

In Aweby jenesisComment: Nicely composed, but you don't have enough contrasts to make the two tone treatment work well. You lose too much detail in the two subjects. I love the look on the childs face. Priceless! Nice almost there shot!

Pastelby nbortonComment: This IMHO is too post edited. I don't really go for the psychedelic look. Cut back on the saturation a touch then maybe...

In the Rocksby jdw91479Comment: This I like a lot, but It needs something. I wanted to say color at first, but I don't think that's quite it. Maybe a golden based duo tone? Maybe a golden overtone (filter)? Maybe just the golden color of the whiskey left in the shot? Nice almost shot!

Mediterranean Sea at Sunsetby AlexysComment: Something seems not really right about this shot but I don't know what exactly. I think it's the lighting on the wave. Don't live by this much water, so I don't have any potential solutions, just the gut feeling that there is something improvable...
