sandwich.....by undieyatchComment: Nice abstract, but for this challenge I don't see it doing to well. You have some DOF obvious in the shot, but with no reference points you can't tell if its shallow or not...

The Bathby soupComment: This seems to be missing something or something just not quite right. It may be that you need to see what the cat is cleaning (probably a front paw) or maybe simply have her looking into the frame instead of out of the frame... Still a very nice composition and use of negative space and lighting. The shallow DOF is not terribly obvious here so it may not score all that well.

Together Foreverby brett2004Comment: This is VERY nicely composed, but the yellow tinge ruins it for me. If you were going for an aged look a duotone image may have worked better...

bottles3by jjbeguinComment: jj, Once again you have managed to amaze me! I can not believe how you managed to capture the glass in all it's reflections and subtleties in B/W! Very nice shot and now I have another subject to search out in MY small part of the world...

Togetherby roy204Comment: Awesome usage of negative space, focus and high key treatment! IMHO you are ever so slightly over exposed. You can not see the detail on the far edge of the puzzle pieces. This is still a very nicely done shot!

Coffee and Creamby PDavisComment: 'm assuming that the dark out of focus items in the background are coffee beans. IMHO they are a disraction and do not add to the shot. They either need to not be there or be more in focus and better lit...
