Kimberly in the 'Golden Hour'by rcrawfordComment: Very nice as a portrait. I would even like to play around with it in duotone as you have some nice contrasts in her face. However, with no near objects to compare to it is difficult to tell if you have attained shallow dof...

Moonglowby MickComment: I can not tell where the focus is in this example making it not meet the challenge criteria. It also is not terribly interesting in composition.

Little Orangeby robbiehComment: IMHO your focus isn't quite where I believe you meant it to be (the 'shroom) rather it seems to be just in front of it. Nice color combinations!

Brass Instrumentby tolovemoonComment: Either this is OOF or your shallow DOF is to shallow for your own good for this challenge. I can't really determine where the focus is. Maybe in an 8x10 format this would work but at this resolution...

Nighty-nightby johnmComment: With no textures in the subject it's really hard to tell where the focus is. Nicely composed and thought out, but maybe not the best subject for THIS challenge!
