Vertical Viewby ManicComment: IMHO this shot is a little confusing to me at first viewing. First thing I thought was why isn't the buliding coming up from the bottom of the frame. Second thought was what am I supposed to be looking at. The lines of the building lead my eye through the shot into the sky, but there is a light right in the middle of the shot that interupts the flow...

J.A., Contractorby jjbeguinComment: I finally figured out why I like this shot so much. You have captured, very simply, the two visible things that define a man. Ya got his eyes, and ya got his hands. I keep getting drawn between the two points. Very nice. I just hope everyone has their monitors calibrated properly otherwise you might get some 'too dark' comments...

Dadby GinaRothfelsComment: IMHO This has been overprocessed and has gone from the domain of photography into the domain of digital art. Under the current rules, I can not give this a very high score...

portre ressami by kiwinessComment: (I don't know how to do it but) if you killed the overly bright reflections in her eyes this would be perfect!

Playfulby TommyMoe21Comment: This is a nicely composed piece that looks flat because of the lighting. If you move your lights off to one side or the other more it would give more depth.

Cactus Jackby tfaustComment: IMHO the harsh lighting underemphasizes the face of your subject. Another time of day might have produced more pleasing results. The face being singled out in the challenge instructions detracts slightly from your score....

Purfect Night Visionby Dim7Comment: I just want you to know that the only reason I'm giving you a lower score than some others I've voted on (and not much lower) is because of the glow in the cat's eyes. A different lighting scheme and I would have scored this on par with the people portraits I've seen so far!
